This page lists our upcoming events across Victoria, including training sessions, field actions, social events and many more.
Our events are open to everyone, newcomers and seasoned campaigners alike - so please feel free to bring your friends, family and colleagues. Greens campaigns are run on people-power, and we could not do it without the support of people like you.
In order to receive more detailed event information, please make sure to RSVP. It will also help our event organisers prepare for the correct number of participants.
Asking people if they've enrolled, checking that they'll #ChooseLoveVoteYes and sharing personal stories is what this event is about.
The countdown is on: just days remain to get equality supporters to enrol or update their details in readiness for voting YES!
On Tuesday and Wednesday night, we’re taking it to the next level - we will be calling our supporters to ensure they have updated their enrolment and are ready to vote yes. To reach everyone before enrolment closes, we’re going to need all hands on deck.
Please bring a laptop to use if you have one.
Greens fundraiser – see the wildlife of the Top End
Australia’s Top End – Kakadu and Mary River – is a wildlife haven rich in species rarely seen by most Australians: huge Crocodiles, Australian Bustards, Dingoes and Red-tailed Black-cockatoos. Its a place where you can see a rare Rock-pigeon sheltering under centuries-old rock art, or watch a million flying-foxes fill the sky at sunset.
Its a region facing an urgent choice: squeeze a few jobs from old-fashioned destructive industries like mining, fracking, pipelines and gambling and destroy the haven forever; or lead the way to real long-term jobs through responsible wildlife and Aboriginal Cultural tourism, renewable energy, Aboriginal Art and the environment.
Join Greens members Echidna Walkabout Nature Tours to explore the wildlife and Aboriginal Culture of the Top End over 6 days. You will be supporting a responsible tourism movement that is fighting for better choices in the Top End, and contributing to the Greens.
For every person that joins this tour through the Greens, Echidna Walkabout will donate 25% of the tour cost to the Port Phillip Greens to support Steph Hodgins-May’s campaign for Melbourne Ports or to Stonnington to support the Prahan State Election Campaign.

This day will have sessions on talking to voters, organising volunteers, using social media to spread your message and managing the logistics of a campaign, this workshop will be an essential milestone on the road to victory.
This day will be an opportunity to gain more skills and also a chance to plan together as a team.
Bring along a pen, notepad and lunch or money to buy it. Morning and afternoon tea will be provided
Join us on Saturday morning in St Albans to speak with people about banning plastic bags, a container deposit scheme and what we can do to reduce plastic pollution.

Join the Victorian Greens at the Equal Love rally for marriage equality and illegal mass wedding.13 years ago, Liberal and Labor banded together to enshrine discrimination into the marriage act. This time, love will win.
The debate is over: Climate change will destroy our way of life unless we act now. Yet Labor is no longer just blocking real action on climate change, they’re also supporting the dirty Adani carbon bomb.
The Adani Coal mine would be the biggest coal mine in Australia’s history. Adani wants to use public funds to build this enormous carbon bomb that will destroy our climate and trash Indigenous rights. We have to stop it.
We know that conversations are the most powerful way to connect with voters. It’s now more important than ever that we hit the streets in marginal electorates to pressure Bill Shorten and Labor to commit to review commonwealth approval and rule out any support for the devastating Adani mine.
Join us in Batman and Stop the Adani Mine!
No experience necessary, just turn up between 11am - 2pm, introduce yourself to one of our friendly volunteers and join the conversation.
