Batman - Stop Labor's Mine - Adani Phonebank

On the 8th of July, we will be holding a Day of Action to build the movement to Stop Adani's devastating coal mine. We will have conversations about climate change and ask people to stand with us to fight against Adani's carbon bomb to put pressure on Labor to commit to review commonwealth approval and rule out any support for the mine.

We know that one-on-one conversations are the most effective way to mobilise our supporters and to do this we need people like you! Come along to a phonebank to call our supporters and invite them to get involved.

Never phonebanked before? No worries, training will be provided on the night and you'll be chatting to Greens supporters just like you!

Victorian Greens State Office Cooling Party!

The Victorian Greens are moving office!

Our biggest ever campaigns in 2018 and beyond

We've been on Little Collins for 3 years. In that time, we saw our wildly successful 2014 State Election, in which we doubled our representation in State Parliament. And in 2016, we faced a Double Dissolution federal election and achieved swings of up to 10% in key seats, paving the way for some big wins soon, followed by a local government campaign that saw Greens' council representation increase from 17 to 29 across the state.

Now, we've outgrown the space. Our positive, professional and people-powered campaigns had more than 6000 active volunteers last year. If we're going to build for next year and win balance of power in both houses of State Parliament and triple our representation in the federal house of reps, we need to go even bigger.

So we're saying goodbye to this office, and we'll be moving to a new home in September. Come and join us in celebrating all that we have achieved in this space. Snacks will be provided, and you won't find cheaper drinks anywhere else in Melbourne!

Batman Stop Adani Doorknock - Thornbury

The debate is over: Climate change will destroy our way of life unless we act now. Yet Labor is no longer just blocking real action on climate change, they’re also supporting the dirty Adani carbon bomb.

The Adani Coal mine would be the biggest coal mine in Australia’s history. Adani wants to use public funds to build this enormous carbon bomb that will destroy our climate and trash Indigenous rights. We have to stop it.

We know that conversations are the most powerful way to connect with voters.  It’s now more important than ever that we hit the streets in marginal electorates to pressure Bill Shorten and Labor to commit to review commonwealth approval and rule out any support for the devastating Adani mine.

Join us in Batman and Stop the Adani Mine!

Never doorknocked before? No worries! Training will be provided on the day and you’ll be supported by our friendly team of volunteers.
