Upcoming events

This page lists our upcoming events across Victoria, including training sessions, field actions, social events and many more.

Our events are open to everyone, newcomers and seasoned campaigners alike - so please feel free to bring your friends, family and colleagues. Greens campaigns are run on people-power, and we could not do it without the support of people like you.

In order to receive more detailed event information, please make sure to RSVP. It will also help our event organisers prepare for the correct number of participants.

    Geelong Door Knock Geelong West

Geelong City Council elections will be held this October and we have the best chance ever of electing a Green. This will allow us to implement Green policies at a local level and create a healthy and inclusive community.

We know the best way reach voters and convince them to support us is through one on one conversations. Spending two hours speaking to voters will make the difference we need to win in Geelong this year.

    Will you join us?

Monash Branch - 'A Plastic Ocean' Film Screening Oct 24

     Monash_City_Greens_-_A_Plastic_Ocean_event_photo.png

FILM: A Plastic Ocean is a 1h 42min cinematic, globe-sweeping insight into the impact that humanity’s production and disposal of plastic has on the corruption of the earth’s oceans, its wildlife and, most shockingly, on humanity itself. As both a visual feast and an invaluable learning experience, the film is one to be seen in the highest regard. The production, 8 years in the making, boasts an extraordinary amount of research and manpower. A potentially life-changing/altering experience!

    TRAILER: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=6zrn4-FfbXw

ADMISSION: $5, or gold coin donation for concession holders, students free.

ENQUIRIES: Contact Barbara if you have enquiries or need a lift (details below).

    Light supper provided.

    Friends and family welcome.

Make sure you RSVP so that we know how many people are coming and so that we can alert you if anything changes. However, we'll be taking payment on the night.

After the screening, there will be a Q@A with Trent Williams from Sea Shepherd.

    Victorian Greens 25th Anniversary!

Founding members of the Victorian Greens with Bob Brown in Darling Gardens, 1992

We've gone from strength to strength, and a milestone as big as this deserves a celebration to match. Come and be inspired from a range of speakers, enjoy live music and meet Greens and Green-minded folk from across the state.

We wouldn't be where we are without our thousands of grassroots members and supporters. And in 2018, we're planning our biggest ever campaigns, so that we can win balance of power in both houses of state parliament and triple our representation in the federal house of reps.
