Victoria doesn't have a housing problem, we have a housing crisis.
While people struggle to pay for rent, or save for a deposit, investors and property developers are getting richer.
The Labor government are demolishing public housing and replacing it with mostly private housing. Meanwhile the waiting list for public housing is huge and continues to grow.
It doesn't have to be this way. Governments should make sure there is enough affordable housing for everyone, and that the quality of housing is healthy and safe.
Renters should also be protected so they can enjoy secure housing without needing to pay crippling amounts of rent.
Join us in a community forum to discuss the role of government in this crisis. We want to hear your stories and your solutions.
It's free event with a light supper, starts 6pm.
