Cultural inclusion skills are essential for students, workers and Greens members to ensure effective and collaborative workplaces and campaigns.
We will use the Harvard Implicit Association Test (IAT) to consider some of unconscious biases we may hold in relation to people from diverse racial backgrounds. We will consider how these stereotypical views we hold in relation to race impacts our perceptions and the way we interact with people from culturally diverse backgrounds. We will also look at strategies that can be used to eliminate emotional clutter in-order to reduce our unconscious bias and improve decision-making.
The workshop is independent from the other workshops in this series, you can come along without having attended parts 1 & 2.
