Forest Forum with Bob Brown

We’re lucky to have some of the most diverse and beautiful mature forests in the world right here in Victoria.

Our forests purify Melbourne’s water, store carbon, and are home to endangered wildlife such as the tiny Leadbeater’s Possum.

But Labor are letting Victoria’s precious Central Highlands native forest be logged at an alarming rate to produce Reflex paper. This has pushed the Leadbeater’s Possum to be declared critically endangered.

And this destructive industry is subsidised by us – the taxpayer.

I’m hosting a public meeting with former senator Bob Brown, to talk about saving the Leadbeater’s possum, stopping native forest logging, and creating the Great Forest National Park.

It’s a great opportunity to learn more about what we can do to protect our forests, and to meet other community members who want to create a better future for the next generation.

Make sure you RSVP as soon as possible to get a seat!
