Green Women of the West

Green Women of the West is a gathering of like-minded women from the western suburbs of Melbourne who share Greens values.

This is an opportunity to carve out space for yourself to organise and take action on the issues you care about!

Actions include: letter writing to media, letter writing to MPs, social media responses, supporting other established and active groups, brainstorming effective events or direct actions, and creating materials and props for actions or events.

You'll be surrounded by a group of supportive women from a range of different backgrounds. So if you're wanting to get more politically active, but not sure where to start, this is the perfect space for you!

Format of meeting:
• Two hour café ‘catch up and take action’ session
• Participants encouraged to bring smartphone and laptop, pen and paper
• Work on a campaign of your choice, or contribute to one of ours

No experience is required, we're always happy to see new faces.

Jellybread café is amazing for little people so bring the kids along!
