Join Senator Lidia Thorpe and our Wills and Cooper candidates Sarah Jefford and Celeste Liddle at our Inner North Community Forum, moderated by Senator Janet Rice.
The inner northern suburbs of Melbourne are a great place to call home.
There’s so much to love here, from strolling down the beautiful Merri Creek to shopping at the bustling Preston Market and being a proud part of our diverse and vibrant communities.
Yet many of us are struggling to find affordable housing, are worried about the crippling costs of dental and mental health and are stressed about the looming threat and reality of the climate crisis.
It doesn’t have to be this way.
Join Lidia, Celeste and Sarah to discuss our plan for a better future and what the inner north would look like Green.
With the federal election only weeks away we have an opportunity to kick out the Morrison Government and put the Greens in the balance of power in Parliament.
In the balance of power, we can get real climate action, make big corporations and billionaires pay their fair share of tax, and deliver free mental and dental care for all.
This event will be held at the iconic CERES on the 9th of May. Guests are welcome to arrive from 6 pm with the Forum beginning at 6.30 pm. We will have some snacks, coffee and delicious local wine and beer to celebrate our wonderful communities.
We deserve representatives who will fight for us and our values in the federal parliament and add to the great work that our Green local Councillors and state MPs are doing. It’s time to make the inner north Green at all levels of government!!
The venue is wheelchair accessible and there will be an Auslan interpreter at the event. If you have other accessibility needs or questions, please contact the organisers.
There are limited places available at this event, so RSVP is essential. Please also note that you will be required to bring proof of vaccination to the event.

If you can't make it to the event in person, Lidia's team will also be livestreaming the forum on Facebook.
