Kooyong Campaign Kick-off

Our community is diverse and strong. We want a people-powered future; a future that is powered by 100% renewable energy, a future that shows the strength of our country to create safe pathways for refugees and asylum seekers, a future that provides public services so that everyone has a place to call home, healthcare when we need it and access to world-class education and transport. We want a future for all of us.

Join Julian Burnside AO QC and Senator Janet Rice and more as we launch our official campaign for the seat of Kooyong.

If you are sick of our elected representatives from the old parties throwing lumps of coal around Parliament, promising to close offshore detention camps but backing out when it matters the most and selling off the public services we need to live a good life, then join us and hear how you can be involved in our campaign. To create a people-powered future, it's going to take all of us.

This event is fully wheelchair accessible. If you have questions on accessibility get in touch for more information beforehand and we can ensure we take the necessary steps for you to fully participate. We welcome volunteers of all abilities, diversity of genders, sexual identities, racial backgrounds, cultures, languages and experiences to join and get involved.

We acknowledge the Wurundjeri people as the Traditional Owners of the land this event takes place on, that sovereignty was never ceded and pay our respects to Elders past, present and emerging.
