Burnside For Kooyong: Scrutineer Training

Join us for our Scrutineer Training on Tuesday May 14th!

Scrutineering is an essential part of campaigning. We need to ensure that every vote that should go to us, does, at every booth across the electorate.

For that reason, attending a Scrutineer Training is crucial for all Scrutineers - experienced and those scrutineering for the first time.

In the training we’ll cover:

  • what you can and can’t do as a Scrutineer,
  • what to expect,
  • we’ll run through a simulation of the scrutiny, so you can get a sense of what’ll be like on the day,
  • and of course have time for any questions you may have.

Please arrive 10 minutes early to settle in.

Please bring a notebook to take notes.

A note on accessibility: We welcome volunteers of all ages, abilities, diversity of genders, sexual identities, racial backgrounds, cultures, languages and experiences to join and get involved.

The Kooyong campaign office is within walking distance of Auburn Railway Station as well as on the 624 bus line.

If you require any reasonable adjustments to feel comfortable or to be able to fully participate in this event, please get in contact with Sam on 0414 336 375.

We acknowledge that this event takes place on the land of the Wurundjeri people of the Kulin Nation, that sovereignty was never ceded and pay our respects to Elders past, present and emerging.
