How can we make campaigning a safer, more enjoyable, and more inclusive experience for LGBTQIA+ activists? That’s the fundamental question we’re getting together to discuss, and we’d love your input.
This workshop provides time and space for LGBTQIA+ Greens members to communicate and share their experiences, suggest ways to improve campaigning, and inform us what a good campaign looks like to them. Together, we’ll work to develop a set of campaign strategies and commitments to our LGBTQIA+ campaigners.
With Janet Rice, Adam Pulford (candidate for Wills) and members of the Queer Greens Victoria attending, this event also provides a great chance to meet our representatives, get involved in our campaigning for equality, and make some new friends.
Looking forward to seeing you there,
Steph Hodgins-May, candidate for Macnamara, and team
A note on accessibility: This location is fully wheelchair accessible and we welcome people of all abilities, sexual identities, racial backgrounds, cultures, languages and experiences to join and get involved. Please feel free to get in touch with any questions or concerns.
