Our Planet, Our Future: Protecting Australian wilderness in the era of climate change

In his first Senate speech in 1996, Bob Brown spoke about the threat of climate change. At the time, Government and opposition members laughed at him.

25 years on, we’re still waiting for the Labor and Liberal parties to tackle climate change in a meaningful way. But instead of taking action, they're taking millions in dirty donations and, in return, they’re continuing to support polluting coal and gas.

Join us on November 4th as we discuss hope, action, and tackling the growing threat of climate change with Bob Brown, former leader of the Australian Greens, Senator for Queensland Larissa Waters, and Macnamara candidate and environmental lawyer Steph Hodgins-May.

We acknowledge that these events take place on the land of the Wurundjeri people of the Kulin Nation, that sovereignty was never ceded and pay our respects to Elders past, present and emerging.
