The Federal Election is only months away, yet climate change policy is at a stand-still in Australia, with both Liberal and Labor taking weak, do-nothing policies to the election.
Catastrophic floods and bushfires. Blistering heatwaves. Reef bleaching. Severe drought. Climate damage is harming the people and places we love and it’s getting worse. Right now, we are being thrown into climate chaos, caused by big coal and nature-wrecking corporations, the billionaires who profit from them and the politicians they have bought.
Our electorate, Macnamara, is the closest seat in the country for the Greens after Melbourne - if just a few thousand people change their votes, we can win here, put the Greens in balance of power and demand action on climate change.
