Sam & Steph Doorknock: St Kilda

We know that people power wins campaigns, and your support makes all the difference.

Join us for a morning to chat with St Kilda locals about what matters to them, and help us re-elect Sam Hibbins in Prahran, and elect Steph Hodgins-May in Macnamara.

There will be training and support, so don't worry if this is your first time doorknocking. Wear comfy shoes and don't forget a water bottle.

    See you there!

We try to make our events as accessible as possible. We need your help with this, as we don’t know what accessible means for you. Please get in contact with our event organiser if you have any feedback on how we can run the most inclusive campaign possible.

Rainbow Road Opening: Jackson Street, St Kilda

    Event_template_(4).png

Stand with LQBTQIA+ Greens and allies on Jackson Street, St Kilda to celebrate the opening of Rainbow Road.

We've got a lot to celebrate following our historic win of marriage equality and what our Port Phillip councillors have achieved by passing a motion that made it possible to paint this road rainbow, in solidarity and pride for our community.

We'll be meeting at the Corner Jackson St & Fitzroy St, so look out for the rainbow triangles and proud faces of Queer Greens Victoria, our Greens volunteers, councillors and candidates.

A note on accessibility: This event will be fully wheelchair accessible. We welcome volunteers of all abilities, diversity of genders, sexual identities, racial backgrounds, cultures, languages and experiences to join and get involved.

Sponsored by Echidna Walkabout Nature Tours, join Greens members and wildlife guides Roger Smith & Janine Duffy to explore the wildlife and Aboriginal culture of the Top End over 6 days.

For each person that joins this tour through the Greens, Echidna Walkabout will donate $825 to Steph's campaign in Melbourne Ports.

    Macnamara Campaign Launch

Please join us to launch the federal campaign for Macnamara and the state campaign for Albert Park.

In 2016, we made Melbourne Ports one of the most marginal electorates in Australia. In 2018, the seat is called Macnamara, and a boundary change has left it on a knife-edge. Now's the time to elect Steph Hodgins-May and turn it Green!

We have a strong campaign team ready to run a massive people-powered campaign but this means we need all hands on deck!

Bring a friend and join us on August 25th at St Kilda Bowls Club at 1pm for this FREE event.

This is an opportunity for us to get together, get excited and learn about the massive campaign we have planned in Macnamara. We're thrilled to be joined by Ogy Simic, candidate for Albert Park, as they kick off their campaign for the coming state election.

Will you join us as we launch our campaigns?

Voters in Macnamara deserve someone that will listen and act on local issues and take their values to Canberra. Together we can hold the major parties to account, and send a clear message that voters want progressive policies that look after people.
