Already, more than 50,000 people have added their name to our petition calling on the government to declare a climate emergency -- but it's time to take it up a level.
On Saturday, October 12, we'll be doorknocking in Moreland to help build further support for our petition, giving us the bargaining power we need to help see the motion through Parliament.
Having conversations with the people about Moreland about the climate crisis and the importance of declaring an emergency is crucial to our campaign.
All training will be provided on the day and if you're new to doorknocking you can pair up with an experienced volunteer first.
