We have an opportunity to finally make family violence the top election issue that it should be in Victoria.
You can trust the Greens to make this a top priority because it's always been that way for us. We have a plan to keep women and children safe and supported.
Our plan, backed by $100 million a year in new funding, will:
- Prioritise tackling family violence within government.
- Invest in more support services and measures to keep women and children safe.
- Hold violent men to account for their actions and expand prevention programs.
One in three women experience intimate partner violence in their lifetime. The tragic and very public recent deaths of Rosie Batty’s son Luke and of Fiona Warzywoda have finally brought deserved attention to this ongoing and grave issue.
To ensure family violence is a top priority and to get the reform that the Greens are standing for, we need your help.
