Prahran Movie Night: Metropolis & discussion with Michael Organ

Join Sam Hibbins MP & Metropolis expert and former Greens federal MP Michael Organ for a screening followed by conversation about this seminal piece of cinema and its relevance to our current times. 

Metropolis: Made in 1927 and set in a futuristic city sharply divided between the working class and the city planners, the son of the city's mastermind falls in love with a working-class prophet who predicts the coming of a saviour to mediate their differences.

Come and join our viewing of the 1984 edit of Metropolis with a 80’s pop soundtrack including Pat Benatar, Bonnie Tyler, Adam Ant and Freddie Mercury amongst other.

Arrive 6.30pm sharp a complimentary drink and finger food will be provided. 

Additional drinks available $5 beer, $7 wine, $2 soft drinks.
