Message Stick Workshop (South East Metro)

In 2021 the Australian Greens First Nations Network (AGFNN) and the Blak Greens delivered a Message Stick regarding White Fragility and White Privilege to the Australian Greens. As part of the process of responding to the Message Stick, AGV have been undertaking consultation with members on how to best progress.

We welcome AGV members to attend this high level exploratory workshop on the topic of the Message Stick that has been passed to AGV. This workshop is for members in the South East Metro region, but all members are welcome to attend.

This workshop aims to provide a safe space for all who attend. The workshop will cover the following:

• Clairification of what the Message Stick is about
• Why this Message Stick is important
• Explore the themes of White Fragility and White Privilege
• How we as a party can look to explore this topic further
