State Melbourne Saturday Afternoon Doorknock - Kensington with Janet Rice

The next election is coming up.

We have the opportunity to re-elect Ellen to the parliament and keep the pressure on Labor.

Together with other Greens members in the Lower House, we can push the government to go further and faster on climate change and continue fighting for equality and justice on all the big issues.

People power our campaign, and we need everyone pitching in to win! To re-elect Ellen, we need to have thousands of conversations with voters about the issues they care about. The most effective way to do this is to get on the doors! Join us to have meaningful conversations with voters in Melbourne.

You don't need to be an expert to have these conversations, we'll provide training on the day! We will also provide walk sheets (maps of houses to visit), clipboards, pens and conversation guides for chatting with voters about shared Green values and the upcoming election.

We will require you to provide proof of double vaccination before the event; if this is an issue, please contact us so we can provide some virtual volunteer opportunities for you.

A note on accessibility: We welcome volunteers of all abilities, diversity of genders, sexual identities, racial backgrounds, cultures, languages and experiences to join and get involved. Please contact us if you require any reasonable adjustments to feel comfortable or participate in this event fully.

We acknowledge that these events take place on the land of the Wurundjeri people of the Kulin Nation, that sovereignty was never ceded and pay our respects to Elders past, present and emerging.
