State Melbourne Volunteer Picnic

The state election is coming up! We have a real chance to hold the government to account, and if the Greens slide continues, even be in the balance of power. But to do this, we need you!

Together we can push to replace coal and gas with 100% renewables by 2030, build more affordable housing and improve our health and education systems!

But to make any of this possible, we must keep Ellen in Parliament, fighting for our community.

This is going to take all of us - come along, bring your housemate, bring your nan - there is room for everyone. Now is the time for action - we built a strong movement in the Federal election, let's keep at it.

Join us at Flagstaff Gardens on September 4th! You'll hear from other volunteers about why they wanted to get involved, how they feel about volunteering, and ways to get involved.

A note on accessibility: We welcome volunteers of all abilities, diversity of genders, sexual identities, racial backgrounds, cultures, languages and experiences to join and get involved.

A note on COVID: All attendees must provide proof of vaccination and are requested to wear a mask when not drinking or eating.

We acknowledge that this event takes place on the land of the Wurundjeri people of the Kulin Nation, that sovereignty was never ceded and pay our respects to Elders past, present and emerging.
