Victorian NAIDOC March | Greens contingent

Join the Vic Greens contingent this Friday for the Victorian NAIDOC March as part of NAIDOC week (July 3rd to July 10th).

The theme of this years NAIDOC is Get Up! Stand Up! Show Up!

We all must continue to Get Up! Stand Up! Show Up! for systemic change for First Nations people - for environmental protections, constitutional recognition, truth telling, treaty and tackling racism.

We will be joining up with the bigger march which begins at 12pm, however there is premarch festival at the VAHS (Victorian Aboriginal Health Service) that you may like to attend also (more info here).

We will meet at the corner of Bell St and Nicholson St at 11.30am this Friday 8 July.

Dress code: please don't wear your Greens tshirt or bring a Greens sign... We are there to march in solidarity.

A note on accessibility: We welcome volunteers of all abilities, diversity of genders, sexual identities, racial backgrounds, cultures, languages and experiences to join and get involved. If you require any reasonable adjustments to feel comfortable or to be able to fully participate in this event, please get in contact with us.

We acknowledge that this event take place on the stolen lands of the Kulin Nation, that sovereignty was never ceded and pay our respects to Elders past, present and emerging.
