The training will be broken up into 2 parts: basic and more advanced.

The first 30 minutes (6:00 - 6:30) is dedicated to NationBuilder basics including:

  • NationBuilder uses
  • searching for contacts
  • updating contact details
  • logging a call

The next 45 minutes (6:30 - 7:15) will cover NationBuilder tasks and concepts including:

  • tags and paths
  • using template filters,
  • customising filters,
  • making and sharing calling lists,
  • logging donation calls,
  • using the fundraising path and using the path to track progress
  • dos and dont's of taking donations over the phone
  • the structure of the data systems of the campaign drive

If the time isn't good for you or you are not a pre-selected candidate, data coordinators will also be conducting the same training, helping out where a suitable time can be arranged. If you would like help arranging a training with a data coordinator, contact Lloyd or Matt and we will try and assist you.

The trainings will be done using Google Meet and the meeting code will be sent to people who have RSVPed, on the day of the training. If you have some experience with NationBuilder you may not wish to attend the first 30 minutes. If that is the case, please respond that you will be joining at 6:30 when you receive the link to the Google Meet.

Participants will need to be at their computer for the training to allow them to see shared screens and run through practice scenarios in NationBuilder.

Hope to see you all there
