Dear Members and Supporters.,
Let's start the new year with a comfortable relaxing picnic among friends, celebrate our collective wins (Marriage Equality, Northcote By-Election, Dying with Dignity Legislation, 25th year anniversary), commiserate our losses (let's just focus on the positives shall we), and plan for a stronger branch outcome for 2018.
On Sunday evening, we are meeting under the large tree near the playground. Please bring food, a blanket and a food to share. There is no BBQ there, so you will need to bring your own pre-prepared items to eat. I recommend salad, cold cuts, something to drink, some insect repellent, a couple of plates, cutlery, a cushion and a jacket in case it gets brisk when the sun goes down.
The forecast weather is looking to be mild, (a chance of rain only in the morning) with cloudy but dry weather in the afternoon. We have a temperature range forecast range of 17-21 degrees during the picnic.
Looking forward to seeing everyone at the picnic ... :)
