Join our lunchtime fundraising session for Council candidates to refine your telephone fundraising pitch, learn some solid fundraising theory and practice the skills and tactics you need to succeed in attracting donations over the phone.
Fundraising can unleash the potential of any local campaign and as candidates for the Greens we don't take dodgy donations from corporations. So calling our supporter base for once-off and regular ongoing donations one of the most successful ways to pay for truely people-powered campaigns. Between 12-1pm next Thursday we'll cover all the essential information you need to get dialling and call donors.
This session will be facilitated by David Jeffery, a Greens member and former Fundraising Manager at the Australian Youth Climate Coalition. David has managed one of the most successful in-house regular giving programs in the country to raise $780,000+ a year from 2,500 donors on average donations of $18-25.
