'Birds and bees... and biodiversity'

Join us to hear the following speakers present from their expert perspectives:

  • Benedict Hughes will be telling us all about the life of bees. Benedict runs his own company, ‘The Practical Beekeeper’. He collects bee swarms, manages beehives, and provides educational courses on the subject for children and adults.

  • Sally Heeps, from Birdlife Australia will be talking about the diversity of birds in the Whitehorse/Box Hill area.

  • Max Campbell is President of the Field Naturalists Club of Victoria and an expert on terrestrial invertebrates. Max will be rounding the night off with a talk that will include the imperative of biodiversity, an area that is often neglected in discussions of our wildlife.

Cost: $5, or gold coin for concession on the night.
Also: Supper and drinks provided.
